^Here are my Grade Ones...we do flash cards after lunch...

^...and here are my Grade Twos. We also do flash cards, but I make them stand farther away from me because they tend to spit when they say their answers. Kelvin, on the right, likes to roll his "r" when he says "three" which is pretty cool to hear.

^This is Jeffry...I help him with his English work. We're pals.

^Connie, on the right, is the girl who I do algebra with. She's a ton of fun and she's also learning how to do her math from my help...which is very rewarding for me : )

^Here's some students from Mr. Milton's class who I do art with. They were the only ones who finished their work for the day so there were only three participating that week. We painted rocks!

^Here's my art class from this Tuesday. I was rather short on supplies so I used my imagination and we made curves on our papers by drawing only straight lines...and they all surprised me by their awesome results. They never have art class so I loved being able to give them that chance!

^I was in an artsy mood one day...and the hibiscus here are slowly wilting, so I thought I'd take advantage before it was too late and draw one. I drew it really quickly and it was windy outside...so it's a little rough, but I like it.

^I was tired yesterday afternoon, so I took a nap. Somehow my camera was underneath my arm, and left a nice little imprint. Don't ask my why I'm putting this up here...I just thought it was funny.

you get to teach kids by yourself? impressive.
I would probably go to jail if someone let me teach kids. they don't seem to like me very much.
ah wow. thats so neat - i would love to teach kids art some day. ;P it looks like alot of fun. heh
its really great seeing pictures like these :)
- all the pictures are working for me. btw. don't know whats going on with john and kathleen, they're missing out.
ah phil...teaching isn't for everyone...:P
and yes the pictures originally DIDN'T work..but today I fixed them.So yes, Jonathan...they did work for you, and they will be working for everyone else too hopefully! : )
But there's one that's missing...it just WON'T show up!
hey, the flower's there. pretty impressive elena.
oh yay i can see them now :). i love seeing you smiling in the one picture with the kids and their artwork. and how did you get them to do that one project? it looks all curvy but they're using rulers!i'm in awe.
kathleen it's the easiest thing to do...i'll teach it to you when I come home! I kid you not...we used only pencil crayons and STRAIGHT rulers. I first told them "Ok everyone, we're going to be drawing these curves using only straight lines!"
The responses they gave me:
"No...you CAN'T do that."
"Do we get to bend the ruler?"
"Are you magic?"
They asked me that last question the first week too...we did origami and...yeah. I'll show the project we did to whoever cares to see it when I get home. 'twas pretty neat.
AWSOMEs! so glad to see some pictures... looks like the kids are having a blast too! keep up the super work! God Bless!
